Joining the Server

Java Edition

1. Launch Minecraft Java Edition.
2. Open Multiplayer and choose Add Server.
3. Enter play.thestormsmp.com as the server address.
4. Save and connect.

Check official Storm SMP announcements for the supported Minecraft version. If the server has just updated, allow time for maintenance or plugin updates.

Connection checklist

• Make sure you are using the correct edition and a supported game version.
• Check that the address is typed correctly, with no spaces.
• Restart Minecraft if the server list appears stale.
• Check the official announcements for maintenance or outages.
• If an error persists, follow the troubleshooting guide.

Protect your account

Only download mods or resource packs from sources you trust. Staff will not need your Microsoft password or one-time authentication code to help you connect.
